If I was a young man, say Rohit Sharma whose place Dravid has taken, I’d look in the mirror and ask hard questions of myself. If I represent the future and have just lost my place to someone 14 years older, the outlook couldn’t be too rosy.

  1. I donno, mate, I still think Rohit has serious talent, and potential he is yet to deliver on; I think too that he will in fact deliver. Time, to get into cliche territory, will tell.

Look at my ODI record and not at that the age of the person whom I replaced. I obviously do not represent the future of Indian and yes outlook is still rosy considering the money that I would continue to make in IPL for bashing ranji bowlers and over the hill stars from yesteryears,
